CNAClasses.org was founded by a group of students, nurses, certified nursing assitancts and professionals within the medical field. Originally intended as a simple informative resource which would inform the general public of the roles and responsibilities of CNAs, the site gradually grew to also cater to the informational needs of nurses and nursing assistants themselves, while also promoting the role of nursing assistant as a critical and fulfilling career in the health sector.

The writers and administrators for this website all have experience past or current in the nursing sector, working on a part-time basis to establish this site as an easy-to-understand informational and guiding resource. We work and live in a range of countries all over the world, a fact reflected in our focus on both Certified Nursing Assistants in the USA and their equivalents (like Nursing Assistants and Patient Healthcare Associates) in other countries. What we have in common is a commitment to the practices of nursing and nurse assistance, as well as a desire to encourage others to join this often-underestimated profession. Some pages are aimed at current CNAs, while others are intended more for aspiring nursing assistants or the general public.
